EnhanceWellness (EW) was formerly known as the Health Enhancement Program (HEP)
University of Washington’s Department of Rehabilitation Medicine has been actively involved in adapting and evaluating the EnhanceWellness health coaching program for people with long-term physical disabilities. This evaluation work has included a pilot trial of 119 individuals funded by the National Institute of Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR; 90RT5023-01-00; 2015-2019) as well as an ongoing randomized controlled trial of 600 individuals, funded through the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR; 1R01NR016942-01A1; 2018-2023).
