“Thanks to my doctor’s insistence I joined EnhanceFitness a year ago. At first the hour was very long and there were exercises I couldn’t do. I’m happy to report that now the hour goes quickly and I have gained new skills. It feels good to be able to do things I couldn’t do before. An added benefit is the friendly, caring group.” – EF Participant, Age 78

NEW: Check out the “CELEBRATION” choreography and videos in the EF Instructor Portal!

Reminder: All manuals can now be printed directly from the EF and EW Affiliate portals.

March = National Nutrition Month and National Kidney Month

National Nutrition Month® is an annual campaign created 50 years ago in 1973 by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. During the month of March, everyone is invited to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits. This year’s theme is “Fuel for the Future.” Download Tip Sheets and Activity Handouts in seven languages for client education throughout March. Healthful eating supports exercise, recovery and so much more!

National Kidney Month is also in March. Check out this great infographic and learn six ways to keep your kidneys healthy, four risk factors and more! Download the 2023 Toolkit, Exercise is Medicine’s Being Active when you have Chronic Kidney Disease Handout and get inspired reading about National Kidney Foundation of Michigan’s EnhanceFitness participant: Fitness is Centenarian Almyra Rourke’s Secret to a Long Life!
